About The Russian Library of America

The Russian Library of America, a public benefit nonprofit corporation, is dedicated to the scholarly and comparative analysis of cultural narratives.

Our mission is to conduct comparative research on historical and contemporary socio-political dynamics across the Americas and the Post-Soviet Space. The Library sponsors translations that reinterpret cultural narratives for a new era by integrating a scientific approach with an expressive visual language, unlocking a deeper, evidence-based perspective. We aim to enrich the global intellectual landscape by transforming history into actionable knowledge for the 21st century.

The Movement From Archive to Analytic Engine

The Russian Library of America is transforming the concept of a library from a conventional repository into a foresight R&D center. Our organization functions as an independent private Research Institution, Publisher of adapted classic literature, enriched educational materials, and analytical commentary. Building on the foundational work of Russian Narratology (V. Propp), we integrate advanced methodologies (Semiotics, Memetics, Natural Language Processing) into a unified scientific system whose theoretical roots trace back to Aristotle’s Poetics.

This framework fuels two core outputs:

  1. The Codices Ecosystem: The creation of The Codices—unique intellectual property (IP) that structures complex narratives into fundamental units of knowledge. This includes both the Classic Codices (e.g., Codex: War and Peace) and the Author Codices (the The Sol saga).
  2. Narrative Education: The licensing of proprietary curricula to our U.S. partners. The Library conducts a rigorous study of historical texts from five foundational civilizations (Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, the Indus Valley, Ancient China, and Pax Romana) alongside five modern centers of power (the U.S./Pax Americana, China, India, Russia, and the United Europe) to identify core cultural codes, master comparative analysis, and develop strategic foresight capabilities; furthermore, these methodologies facilitate elite post-graduate certification programs delivered by our educational partners.
We are not merely a repository; we are an Analytic Engine that converts the lessons of history into tools for strategic decision-making. Our core functions include the creation of predictive models based on applied narratology and comparative analysis (including U.S.–Russia and other global powers), as well as the development of advanced knowledge bases and educational tools.
